Great day in La Jolla at the San Diego Regional robotic competition. The STEM research team killed it on their presentation of the ROSA robot (that assists with brain mapping in epilepsy surgeries). They built a prototype and explained of their plans to program it so that the doctor inputs the area of the brain to reach and the ROSA robot autonomously moves to the location. Team 3434M beat their high score of 24 with a whopping 60 points today! And Team 3434A came in 3rd place in the Teamwork Challenge and 2nd place in the skills contest. The world standings aren't posted yet but we think we have moved up to the top 10 in California! These teams are doing great! So fun to watch them at work. Did anyone get video? Can you post it here so we can see them? via MATHmania Robotics http://ift.tt/1KR8MJg
